Yanmen Ancient Village

Yanmen Ancient Village in Dalan Town of Luxi County integrates Hui and Xiangxi architectural styles. The village was built in the early Ming Dynasty. With red walls, green tiles, flying eaves, and upturned corners, 56 unique residential buildings are full of ancient charm.

In 2013, Yanmen Ancient Village was included in the fourth batch of famous historical and cultural villages in Hunan Province. In 2014, it was selected into the list of the second batch of Chinese traditional ancient villages.
